Shoujo-Manga eyes: The Original Version by LovelySingingBird Shoujo-Manga eyes: The Original Version by LovelySingingBird
Hello! Panda Emoji-27 (Good night) [V2]
So this is an older Shoujo Manga eye I drew a few years ago, that has actually been able to become quite popular with the views. Yay!
I actually, now have a more updated and recent shoujo eye-torial. It's a different eye from this one, so it's really whichever one you like. Please feel free to use! I really hope either eye tutorial is helpful to you!
As always, thank you for your support.

Here is the link to the Shoujo Manga Eyes-The Dreamer Version: Shoujo Manga Eyes: The Dreamer Version by LovelySingingBird
And if you do happen to like and use either eye tutorial, why not favorite? Happy Bunny Wave - Beemote

This looks like a left eye to me, so I'd like to ask, when drawing the right eye, would one mirror this image, or only certain parts? I would guess the lashes would be mirrored, but the eye detail and shines I would guess are identical.

Great tutorial by the way! First thing I've drawn that I don't think is a testament to my utter incompetence at art!

Hello! Thanks for your feedback, it's great to hear that you've enjoyed the tutorial!

As for your question, yes you would mirror the eye. The eye detail, and eye shines would be the only identical things. One thing that I do when I draw eyes is to continuously stop and make sure the eyes are lining up because at first they can be drawn a little weird but that only gives you the chance to improve it. So don't give up! I've inputted two of my older artworks that feature the eye in the tutorial, to perhaps help you out on drawing the left eye, you can also go to my gallery and view them in the Older Artworks folder.

Thank you for viewing the tutorial and have fun drawing! :)

This is exactly what I needed , without all the flashy shiny freaky. I'm all for shojo, but the type that makes sense. Thank you!

And one other thing, do you apply the exact same thing to the other eye? Or does it look awkward? ;P

Yep! Exactly to the other eye, its like flipping the eye around. And you can do this on the computer too.
BY scanning the on eye on there and then going to paint to free transform (i think) and flipping it around to be exactly like the other one. BUT drawing it can be more of the challenge! :dummy:

Mhm.... I practiced drawing one and it turned out pretty good for a person who can't draw. X3
